القبائليين وخرافة الشعر الاشقر والعيون الزرقاء

كثير من القبائليين –ان لم نقل كلهم- يروجون لخرافة انهم شعب آري ببشرة بيضاء شعر اصفر وعيون زرقاء.. وهو الامر العاري تماما من الصحة، حيث اكد الشاعر الاسكتلندي توماس كامبل الذي زار دولة الجزائر عام 1834، في كتاب رسائل من الجنوب، بان اغلب القبائليين ببشرة سمراء (بنية) وشعر اسود، وبان القليل من قبائلهم ببشرة فاتحة (شك في اصولهم الوندالية)، لكنه اكد، بانه لم يلتقي ابدا بواحد منهم بشعر اشقر او عيون خضراء او زرقاء.

The Kabyle, however, more generally wears a woolen cap or callot, like a priest’s cowl : his patched and ragged mantle is bound round his middle ; and he has as rarely a shoe on his foot as the Arab, though numbers of them in war time go booted and spurred into battle. A few of their tribes, as I have told you, are so fair complexioned, as to leave a suspicion of their Vandal origin ; and Leweson says, that some of them still tattoo themselves with the figure of the cross ; but I have never seen any of them with light eyes or hair. They are brown complexioned and black-haired, middle sized, lean, but sinewy and well made.

Their features are rounder than those of the Arabs, and their noses less aquiline. Their own proper language is different from the Arabic; and there are, inland, mountain tribes where an Arab cannot make himself understood among these old Numidians. Still I suspect that the old Berberic and the Arabic are cognate tongues.

وهذه الصور الكولونيالية تؤكد كلامه، انا هنا لا اقول بان كل القبائليين سود او سمر، انما أشدد على ان جزء كبير من هذا الشعب بملامح افريقية يتم تهميشه لغاية في نفس يعقوب.

هام: للقبائليين -بقايا الغزاة والعبيد الاوروبيين- الذين يربطون العبودية بالسود، اقول بان الفرنسي اتيان دي جوي (عاش بين 1764 و1846)، ذكر القبائليين بالاسم ضمن الشعوب التي كانت تهاجم السواحل الاوروبية من اجل اختطاف الاوروبيين من كلا الجنسين ومختلف الاعمار.. لبيعهم في اسواق شمال افريقيا كحيوانات حقيرة (حسب تعبيره).

Ces pirates, dont la nation, ou plutôt l’agrégation se composait d’indigènes nommés k’baÏls, de Maures, anciens conquérants de l’Espagne, d’Arabes venus d’Asie, de Juifs, de Turcs et de Renégats, avaient établi le siège principal de leur brigandage maritime à Maroc, à Alger et à Tunis, sur la côte méridionale de la méditerranée qui s’étend du détroit de Gibraltar a la Lybie : montés sur des petites barques appelées Chebecs, avec un équipage d’une cinquantaine d’hommes et quelques mauvais canons, ils infestaient la méditerranée, et croisaient quelquefois dans l’océan jusqu’aux canaries, quand le butin leur manquait en mer, ils effectuaient audacieusement des descentes sur quelque point des cotes de Sardaigne, d’Espagne ou d’Italie, enlevaient les habitants de tout sexe et de tout âge, les entassaient dans leurs barques, et les vendaient chez eux, comme de vils bestiaux, dans les marches publics.
